    Blogging represents the democratization of the internet. Yes that’s right, what would have once been considered a geeky pastime is now the zeitgeist, you are no one in this world if you don’t have a blog and a twitter account. So which platform is the best to use? Here are a few choices:

    Blogger

    This is Google’s own blogging template and provides a very basic template for you to get started. This is what most people start out blogging with as it is very simple to use and understand. It doesn’t have a whole raft of features however which means you can quickly out grow it.

    WordPress

    Without doubt the most popular blogging platform, WordPress is available either as a host for your blog, or a an application that you can download and host independently. WordPress is advanced with plenty of options but still easy to use. It supports images, video, audio, social media plugins and hundreds of other cool features

    Tumblr

    This is an up and coming platform with is rapidly gaining popularity. Even more user friendly and intuitive than WordPress is Tumblr with its minimalist, stylish layout. The blogging platform for those that don’t have time to blog!

    Typepad

    The only platform that requires a subscription, Typepad means business, though it still retains a simple clean interface, reminiscent of Tumblr. A yearly subscription to this would make great personalised gifts for keen bloggers

    While all these templates have their good and bad points, if you are thinking of starting a blog, there is no time like the present, pondering for too long over your platform will only serve to waste valuable writing time!. Blogging is becoming an increasing popular recreational and business tool, a guide on how to do it properly would make great stocking fillers or Christmas gifts.

    Being a superstar DJ is the dream of every young music fan, whether you like your banging trace tunes or your happening hip-hop, spinning the vinyl in front of a roaring crowd is the ultimate fantasy for hoards of budding disc-jockeys. Getting all the right kit to to do this at top level however is very expensive, top of the range decks cost thousands and vinyls are only getting more pricey , and it is not like the resident crowed pleaser can walk into their local club with a small collection either.
